Trans World Airlines is using the new liquid bonding agent instead of rivets to install new cabin windows in its current Constellation modification, it announced today at its overhaul base at Kansa City, MO. The adhesive is Conley C-1 and C-2 bonding cement manufactured by Conley Corporation, Tulsa, Oklahoma. "It bonds glass, metal or wood through molecular cross-linking", Conley explained. He said it has been successfully used to repair oil tanks and pipelines. The Atomic Energy Commission is one of its customers.
