Series 90MX with low flame spread and smoke
& toxicity for USCG PFM 1-98 requirements, see Marine
Applications.
- NEWSFLASH: A Conley Exclusive, our Standard 90M/90MC products have recently
passed the US Coast Guard PFM 1-98
L3 Wet/Dry Fire Endurance Testing at Southwest Research
Institute's San Antonio Fire Test Facility for Deluge
System Piping. For the first 5 minutes of the test, the
piping is completely empty (dry condition) then for the
duration of the test, the piping is full of water. The
total test time including dry and wet time is 30 minutes.
Available in nominal sizes from 1-inch thru 20-inch in
225 and 250 psi pressure ratings. Now you can install ONE
product with two Type Approvals in both L3 and L3 Wet/Dry
applications (Conley Exclusive),
saving you monies with the same product, same fabrication
joining system.
- Now available in
two NEW pressure ratings: 225
and 250 psi (15 and 17 bar), Series 90-225 or 90-250.
- Conley's ABS, DNV, Lloyd's
Register & US Coast Guard CERTIFIED Schedule 90M Marine Piping Systems
with Fire Protective Coatings are
approved for 1-inch thru 20-inch NPS Certified
for all L3 Fire Endurance Rating locations.
- Conley
Corporation's Internationally Certified by ABS, DNV, Lloyd's
Register & US Coast Guard Schedule 90M Marine Piping Systems
with Fire Protective Coatings have
PASSED (Click
Here for photo's) the ASTM F 1173 Fire
Endurance Test! This test procedure is based on the IMO
Assembly Resolution A.753(18). This
test method subjects a pipe/fitting sample to a constant
36,011 Btu/(hr-ft2)
net heat flux (up to 1800 degrees F flame temperature)
for 30 minutes duration and then subjects the sample to a
15 minute hydrostatic leak test at 150 psig. This test
gives a purchaser of fiberglass pipe and fittings the
ability to determine the fire resistance of a fiberglass
piping system when filled with water.
- Conley's ABS, DNV, Lloyd's
Register & US Coast Guard CERTIFIED Schedule 90MC
Conductive Marine Piping Systems for
Hazardous Area Locations. Electrostatic
charges can be generated on the inside and outside of
plastic pipes. The resulting sparks can create punctures
through pipe walls, leading to leakage of pipe contents,
or can ignite surrounding explosive atmospheres. Conley's
Schedule 90MC Conductive Marine Piping Systems
manufactured and approved in accordance with IMO
Resolution A.753(18).
